The most common self-defense keychain is a Kubotan. It is a metal or hard plastic rod, usually about 5-6” long and 1/2” in diameter. It has a flat and rounded side and can be used to strike or jab an attacker. We’ll cover how to make that right now.
Supplies Needed:
- Metal or Plastic Rod 5-6” long and 1/2” in diameter
- A drill
- Keyring
- Optional Accessories
To make your own self-defense keychain, you’ll need a few supplies. You’ll need a piece of metal or hard plastic about 5-6” long and 1/2” in diameter. You can find these materials at any craft or hardware store. You’ll also need a keyring and a drill.
Once you have the necessary supplies, you can begin to make your self-defense keychain. Start by drilling a hole at one end of the rod. Make sure the hole is large enough for the keyring to fit through. Then, use a file to round off the edges of the rod to make it smooth.
Once the rod is finished, attach it to the keyring. You can also add a few beads or charms to the keyring to make it look more attractive. Now you have a self-defense keychain that you can carry with you wherever you go!
The final step is to test the keychain. Once the keychain has been assembled, it’s important to test it to make sure that it works properly. This can be done by making sure that it is functioning correctly.
